Despite always having a passion for all forms of arts she never felt quite confident enough to pursue it herself.

It wasn’t until she was face to face with her own self: deep into depression questioning what actually she is doing and what her purpose in this world is that she decided that art was what she would live for from that moment on..

she made a promise to herself that no matter what the circumstances, she would look for the “lovely things ” in EVERYTHING.

“Mr. Lovely” a brand created by Nayeli as a reminder to herself to keep on looking for the lovely things; a reminder to self that there’s loveliness in all moments even the ugly ones.

Its been such a journey inward for her but she’s learning the artist ways of this world as she goes.

She has studied quite a few things but somehow, she did not collect degrees [lol]-

She was in college for marketing and communications until she dropped out in 2023.

-her previous majors were psychology- videography- web design.

These are all things that she loves, but she did not find a point in stressing 4+ years to learn something she can easily learn in one lesson on YouTube.

Art creation has allowed me to view parts of myself that I wouldn’t have otherwise seen. I can see myself in other things that are not me.

It’s like taking a picture of a fragment of my soul.

A colorful self-reflection art form.

I want to inspire my viewer to always follow their unique vision and dreams no matter how crazy it may seem as well as to make them question reality.

I’ve always kept a sketch journal and a lot of the sketches on here or ideas are from old journals or my current one.

I use a lot of different materials for art but the most present ones are acrylic paint for canvases and water coloring for my sketchbook as well as air dry clay- but I love to work with a lot of left over materials or scraps too. –

Of course, can’t forget about my very handy dandy very lovely computer and scanner. 🙏

I really love the concept of color theory.

Vibrant colors along with the contrast of the dark ones have always fascinated me; learning to mix different values of color from just primary colors is my kink.

I have always been a very curious human being always wanting to try and create what I find interesting, and well that is why I do not have one specific style nor medium.

I like to try it all because; why not?

This applies in all areas of my life not just art.
